Heath Town Swimming Club is built on the dedication of volunteers. Every gala, training session, assessment and club event happens because parents, swimmers and community members give their time to support our young athletes.
Volunteering is at the heart of our club — and we’re proud of the friendly, committed team who help make swimming accessible, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

- Gala and Time Trial officiating and marshalling

We Need More Volunteers
As the club continues to grow, we’re looking for more people to join our volunteer team. You don’t need swimming experience — just enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to help.
Volunteering is flexible and designed to fit around busy family life. Many roles take less than an hour a week, and training or guidance is always provided.
🔔 Committee Vacancies (Urgent)
We currently have four vacant committee positions, and filling these roles is essential for the smooth running of the club.
Vacancies include:
- General Committee Member (x2)
- Competition Administration
- Membership Administration
- Events & Fundraising Support

Timekeepers
It takes up to 20 officials to run a gala event and each club has to provide a few officials to make up that number. We welcome anyone that would like to become a timekeeper, it gets you close to the action and is rewarding and engaging.
