Volunteers

Heath Town Swimming Club is run entirely by volunteer parents/carers of our swimmers. So, could you be our next volunteer, supporting your swimmers in their chosen sport?

We are always looking for skills to strengthen the team. There are many roles you can get involved with. Parents of our younger swimmers might like to start slowly by shadowing a key role so that you can learn the ropes and decide if you would like to take over the role when the current volunteer steps down.

Any time you can provide is welcome and you can give as much as you can spare. The more volunteers we have the lighter the workload for everyone. Please speak to our ‘Help Desk’ on a Club night they will point you in the right direction. Alternatively, you can fill in our Volunteer Expression of Interest Form

Marketing

We need help to promote club activities, ideally to increase membership, increase income, and/or raise the profile of the club within the community. If you have graphic skills or social media skills we’d love to hear from you.

Fundraising

If you could be a central point of contact for fundraising queries and takes the lead on developing opportunities for raising funds through ‘easyfundraising’, raffles etc we’d love to hear from you.

Poolside Team

We always require volunteers for our Coaching Team managed by our Head Coach. Poolside helpers to help with equipment, completing assessment sheets, and timekeepers. We will help fund training required to undertake roles like coaching, timekeeping, and judging.

ICT Skills

Keeping club records and finances in order requires new IT system. If you have skills in ICT, databases, excel or setting up new laptops and devices we need your help.

Timekeeper

It takes up to 20 officials to run a gala event and each club has to provide a few officials to make up that number. We welcome anyone that would like to become a timekeeper, it gets you close to the action and is rewarding and engaging.
