Welcome to Heath Town Swimming Club
We are a friendly club based at Wolverhampton Swimming and Fitness Centre and we have over 140 members.
The club provides a pathway for swimmers, from developing stroke technique and stamina at a young age through to competition level in our junior and senior squads. The swimmers are taught and coached by fully qualified Swim England coaches and teachers, following Swim England club awards and supported by dedicated support volunteers.
Every swimming member is valued and encouraged to work together to achieve their goals in a fun and caring environment.
Club Structure
We have training groups suitable for swimmers from around 6/7 years of age who can swim at least 25m. Our improver sessions focus on establishing good technique in all four strokes, as well as racing dives and turns.
Children progress through the learning groups into the training squads. Squads do not have a compulsory training schedule. Our squad structure and flexible training times allow children to progress their swimming and compete in galas without sacrificing their other interests.– all sessions are pay-as-you-go by cash or card on the night.
