Club Committee

Heath Town Swimming Club is a not‑for‑profit, community‑run club, and everything we do is for the benefit of our swimmers. Our qualified coaches are paid for the training sessions they deliver, but they also give many extra hours voluntarily to support swimmers at galas, meets, and club events. The rest of the club — from admin to organisation to poolside support — is run entirely by volunteers who give their time to keep things running smoothly.

Our Committee

The club is overseen by an elected committee who meet each month to manage the day‑to‑day running of the club and plan for the future. Committee members are usually parents of swimmers or other supportive members of the swimming community who generously volunteer their time and skills.
Roles within the committee include areas such as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership, Welfare, Workforce, and Team Management. Each role plays an important part in ensuring the club operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Swim England guidance

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year, and all parents and club members are warmly encouraged to attend. It’s a great opportunity to hear updates, share ideas, and get involved in shaping the future of the club

Club Constitution

The club follows the rules and procedures set out in our constitution. If you would like a copy, please speak to a committee member and we’ll be happy to provide one.

Want to Help?

Volunteers are at the heart of our club. Whether it’s helping poolside, joining the committee, supporting at galas, or lending a hand with admin, every bit of help makes a difference. If you’d like to get involved, please speak to the Club Secretary or any committee member.
